Laura Harris, LNHA
Laura began working for Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing, and its parent company, in 2004 as a clerk in the business office and soon became the business office manager. In 2011, Laura accepted an opportunity to begin the Nursing Home Administrator training program. For the next year and a half, Laura was trained and worked in every department of Bethany, becoming a certified Nurse Technician and Certified Activities Director in the process. This training assisted in giving Laura an important level of understanding of what it is like to work in a skilled facility, which in turn built a mutual level of trust and respect between her and her coworkers. Laura passed her administrator’s exam and took over as Bethany’s administrator in January 2013. She hopes to continue the highest level of care that has become standard at Bethany by providing open communication with the residents, their families and the entire staff.
