Tara Shuemake, COTA/L

Tara has been a part of team Trevecca since 2003, and she began her career 27 years ago as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She was promoted to Assistant Director of Rehabilitation six years ago, before advancing as the Director of Rehabilitation in February 2020. Tara shared that she feels so lucky to work with such devoted and exceptional staff, who push her to grow every day. Aside from pursuing her purpose at Trevecca, she loves traveling with her husband and spending time with her mom. Tara looks forward to meeting future patients and residents so that she can challenge them to grow stronger and become healthier for a more fulfilling life at home.
