Jacob Taylor, CDM, CFPP

Jacob has been in the healthcare field for five years! He began his love for the Food Service industry when he worked at Crossings Ministries at Jonathan Creek. He fed 700-900 people every week. He states, “Youth and their leaders would come to camp, we would feed them, lead activities, and share the gospel every chance I had”. After working with them for two years and completing his internship, it was time to head back home. His mom was a cook at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY and he told her that he needed a job. Jacob began as a dishwasher and after a few years, worked his way up the chain to become their Director of Food & Nutrition Services. One could suggest that his passion for serving others is what led him to where he is today. He feels blessed to be apart of the Trevecca Center team! His favorite part of his job is serving alongside so many people that have a passion for what they do! Equipping others with knowledge so they may turn that into application. He shared this quote, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Psalms 23:4, Healthcare has rapidly changed from what it was just a few years ago. Stay strong and stick to it. Tough days will come and go but find joy in the better days! In his spare time, he spends time with his wife. He loves to play with his 3 month old daughter, Eleanor! She “coos” and giggles and is such a joy to be around!
